Nerja is part of the Costa del Sol in the province of Malaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is on the country's southern Mediterranean coast, about 50 km east of Malaga. It has a subtropical climate, and a dramatic coastline of beaches, coves, and cliffs. Once a sleepy fishing village, Nerja has retained its Andalucian character, particularly in the old quarter with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. One of its most famous attractions is the Balcon de Europa, a former fortress and now a clifftop promenade with magnificent panoramic views over the Mediterranean.

Great find with such a spacious and well maintained outdoor area. The inside of the villa is really cozy and comfortable too. Only a short trip by car into town.
